Our next stop was Wertheim a romantic medieval town situated between Wurzburg and Frankfurt at the point where the River Tauber flows into the River Main. It has medieval lanes, frame houses and an awe-inspiring castle. It has kept its character of a small Franconian town

We did not have an organised tour of Wertheim and therefore, we were free to wonder through this little town looking at all the quaint shops, particularly the glass shops for which Wertheim is renowned.
